Equivalence of the adiabatic expansion and Hadamard renormalization for a charged scalar field

We examine the relationship between three approaches (Hadamard, DeWitt-Schwinger and adiabatic) to renormalization of expectation values field operators acting on a charged quantum scalar field. First, we demonstrate that representation Feynman Green's function is particular case Hadamard representation. Next, restrict attention spatially flat Friedmann-Lemaitre-Robertson-Walker universe with time-dependent, purely electric, background electromagnetic field, considering two, four-dimensional space-times. Working order required for stress-energy tensor (SET), find adiabatic expansions when space-time points are separated. In two four dimensions, resulting identical. expansion contains terms which not necessary SET hence absent in expansion. The equivalence scenario considered thereby demonstrated up well-known ambiguities dimensions.
